A leading international law firm is seeking a Global Tax Services Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising domestic and international clients on sophisticated tax planning transactional tax matters and complex business transactions.

37 years of tax experience at a law firm accounting firm or similar professional services environment
Experience advising clients on federal income tax partnership taxation corporate taxation and transactional tax matters preferred
Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions private equity transactions joint ventures restructurings and other business transactions
Experience with international tax planning cross-border transactions or fund-related tax matters is a plus
Strong analytical drafting research and communication skills
Ability to work directly with clients and transaction teams in a collaborative environment
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required
North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
