We are looking for:

Global Quality Engineer-North America:

  • A strong technical background in engineering materials science or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems and standards across global sites
  • Leading root cause analysis and driving effective corrective and preventive actions for quality issues
  • Supporting new product development and process changes by providing quality expertise and risk assessmentsCollaborating with cross-functional teamsincluding R&D manufacturing supply chain and commercialto achieve quality objectives
  • Managing customer and supplier quality requirements including audits documentation and resolution of complaints
  • Analyzing quality data and metrics to identify trends risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Promoting a culture of quality safety and compliance throughout the organization
  • Providing training and guidance on quality tools methodologies and best practices
  • Representing the company in customer and regulatory audits ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Supporting global harmonization of quality processes and sharing best practices across regions

You will bring:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Materials Science Chemistry or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5 years) in quality engineering within the composites advanced materials or specialty chemicals industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100) and regulatory requirements relevant to composites manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Six Sigma Lean).
  • Experience with customer and supplier quality management including audits complaint resolution and corrective actions.
  • Excellent analytical organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a global cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $98720 to $123400 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
  • Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional information:

  • This position is based on the Central region of the United States.
  • Remote work is possible with 1-2 daysperiodicon-site presence as required.
  • Travel may be up to 50% during certain periods including both domestic and international destinations.
