Pay Rate: $30.00/hr $2.00 shift differential

BASIC FUNCTION

To perform preventative maintenance routine repairs and installation of equipment in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to site operations

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment
• Conducts electrical and mechanical installation repair and troubleshooting of motors instrumentation and/or controls
• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including but not limited to GMP OSHA HACCP FDA USDA and internal safety guidelines
• Maintains level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets Companys standards and guidelines
• Perform administrative duties including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP)
• Responsibilities may include welding pipefitting and plumbing work throughout the facility
• Attends site training sessions including but not limited to hazardous waste training
• Excellent attendance flexibility enthusiasm and a positive approach to work performance
• Other tasks as assigned

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years experience in the industrial background (food or chemical preferred) facility maintenance or general mechanical experience in pipefitting welding or pump and equipment repair or related experience
• Forklift JLG and scissor lift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and perform duties at elevated heights
• Familiar with 110 240 and 480V 3-phase systems
• No Food Allergies

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• General computer literacy
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Must possess strong written and verbal English skills and be able to read and explain technical documentation to others
• Must be able to safely use hand tools and equipment for installation disassembly and testing of electronic and pneumatic equipment
• Must possess the mechanical ability electrical aptitude and skills relating to a minimum of one craft within welding plumbing pipefitting or electrical areas
