Hello Gifted & Talented Teachers!Ampersand Therapy is hiringa Gifted & Talented Teacher to support students in Thornton this role youll provide engaging rigorous instruction that challenges advanced learners while supporting their academic social and emotional growth. Youll collaborate with teachers families and school staff to identify gifted students develop individualized learning plans and create meaningful opportunities for students to reach their full potential.
This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about enriching instruction differentiating learning experiences and helping gifted students thrive in a rigorous academic environment.

Screen and evaluate students for Gifted & Talented identification
Develop implement and annually update Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs) for identified gifted students
Design and deliver engaging differentiated instruction that challenges gifted learners
Adapt curriculum instructional strategies and learning materials to meet individual student needs
Collaborate with classroom teachers to enrich and extend curriculum across content areas
Co-plan and support differentiated instruction with Math ELA Science and Social Studies teachers
Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction and support growth
Partner with students families and school staff to promote student success
Foster a positive inclusive learning environment that supports both academic achievement and social-emotional development
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License
Gifted & Talented Endorsement required
Bachelors degree required (Masters degree preferred)
Strong collaboration communication and instructional planning skills
School-based teaching experience preferred but not required
