Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Gift Management Specialist to oversee the accurate processing tracking and reporting of this role you will ensure the integrity of donor data support financial reconciliation and contribute to a seamless donor experience through timely and accurate gift handling. This is a fully remote position requiring strong analytical skills precision and a commitment to confidentiality.

What Youll Do
  1. Process and record all incoming donations (online check wire and other channels) with accuracy and timeliness
  2. Maintain and update donor records within CRM systems ensuring data integrity and consistency
  3. Reconcile donation records with finance and accounting teams
  4. Generate gift reports dashboards and summaries for internal stakeholders
  5. Ensure proper gift coding allocation and designation tracking
  6. Support donor acknowledgment processes including receipts and tax documentation
  7. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with financial and nonprofit regulations
  8. Identify and resolve discrepancies in donation records or transactions
  9. Collaborate with fundraising and donor relations teams to support campaigns and reporting needs
What Were Looking For
  1. 25 years of experience in gift processing donor services finance support or data management
  2. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  3. Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Blackbaud DonorPerfect Salesforce NPSP)
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
  5. Understanding of financial reconciliation and data validation processes
  6. Ability to handle sensitive financial and donor information with confidentiality
  7. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  8. Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
  1. Experience in nonprofit development or fundraising operations
  2. Familiarity with accounting principles or financial systems
  3. Knowledge of gift compliance tax regulations and donor reporting standards
  4. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
  5. Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
