Geotechnical Engineer

A renowned geotechnical engineering and material testing firm is currently searching for an ideal Geotechnical Engineer near the Selah WA area. This role would receive generous base salaries terrific bonus packages (that include health benefits a 401K plan etc.) and other terrific perks.

Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for:

• Under the supervision of the General Manager conduct site visitations investigations field reports etc.
• Daily duties may include: laboratory testing infiltration testing of land foundation designs slope stability analysis for seismic activity etc.
• Projects may include: Commercial Industrial Educational and Municipal capacities.

Required work experience includes:

• 5 years of experience in an Engineering role for Geotechnical projects and Material Testing (infiltration testing slope stability seismic analysis geological investigations etc.)
• Project experience in Commercial Industrial Educational and/or Municipal capacities
• Understanding of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (WORD Excel etc.)
• Open to travel depending on the project.

Preferred skill/ experiences include:

• Masters Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Required education/ licenses include:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the State of Washington (EIT also accepted)
