General Surgeon

As our General Surgeon you will join our established practice at St. Michael Medical Medical in Silverdale WA. You will play a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our practice.

Every day you will provide comprehensive surgical evaluation operative care and postoperative management for a broad range of conditions.

To be successful in this role you will be a BC/BE General Surgeon with a passion for helping patients strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care within a busy community-focused practice.

• Focus is on bread and butter General Surgery with a mixture of clinic OR and rounding as needed
• Shared call responsibility currently 1:8
• Established practice with an excellent reputation in the community

In this role you will be part of a high energy hardworking tight knit team that creates a supportive and cohesive work environment. The position is located at St. Michael Medical Center in Kitsap County. It is located on a Peninsula where youll be surrounded by water in every direction mountains beautiful landscapes and fresh air! This is a great place to visit or live for outdoor enthusiasts. Many outdoor activities that include hiking biking kayaking and whale watching! The hospital is on a beautiful campus built in 2020. There are views of the Olympic mountains to the west and nearby walking & hiking trails. If you prefer to venture off into the city on your days off Seattle is just a ferry ride away.

• Required:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Washington or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Completion of ACGME Residency program
  • American Board Certification and active BLS
