This role provides leadership and direction to superintendents foremen and craft employees while coordinating closely with project management safety engineering and Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for field operations across assigned and mentor project superintendents assistant superintendents foremen and craft all construction activities comply with project plans specifications and company and implement construction work plans sequencing and scheduling manpower equipment and material needs to support project daily field productivity and ensure efficient utilization of labor and and enforce a strong safety culture across all job compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety in safety meetings job hazard analyses and incident with project managers and project engineers to maintain project potential schedule risks and develop mitigation all work meets project specifications quality standards and regulatory field activities with subcontractors suppliers and project regular communication with project management regarding project progress and degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field field experience may substitute for formal 1015 years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory leadership managing large-scale infrastructure or heavy civil projects and SkillsStrong leadership and team management knowledge of construction methods scheduling and project to read and interpret plans specifications and contract problem-solving and decision-making communication and organizational RequirementsAbility to walk job sites climb stairs and ladders and work outdoors in varying weather to lift up to 25 pounds to work extended hours when required by project EnvironmentThis position requires frequent presence on active construction sites where exposure to moving equipment noise dust and changing weather conditions may occur.
