What Youll Do
- Lead motivate and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales goals
- Oversee all aspects of the sales department including new and used vehicle sales inventory management and merchandising
- Build and maintain a results-driven sales process that delivers an exceptional customer experience from first contact to delivery
- Set the tone for a positive accountable and energetic culture that reflects our servant leadership philosophy
- Recruit train and mentor sales consultants and sales managers helping grow the next generation of automotive leaders
- Analyze sales data market trends and performance metrics to forecast and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with the General Manager on pricing strategy inventory acquisition and overall dealership profitability
- Ensure full compliance with dealership policies and all local state and federal regulations
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience required
- Proven track record of success in automotive sales management with measurable results to back it up
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sales process from lead generation through the finance office
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing people
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills
- A high-energy hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to doing right by both customers and team members
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
