Job Summary:

Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic in Lock Haven is seeking board certified or board-eligible Physician in General Pediatrics.

Provide health maintenance and acute care for patients newborn to 18 years of age
Assess and establish a diagnosis and implement treatment plans for their patients
Make accurate and complete entries into the electronic medical record; order and interpret diagnostic testing and consult as appropriate and prescribe appropriate medical therapy utilizing evidenced based practice
Outpatient only with limited evening and weekend phone call coverage
20-hour workweek: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional Saturday clinic coverage
Saturday acute clinic 8am-12 pm every 1:4-8 weekends dependent on provider compliment
New Multispecialty clinic with primary care some subspecialties and Urgent Care on site. Lab pharmacy and Radiology on site
Social work and psychology support for the pediatric clinic
Pediatric subspecialty support available through outreach clinics or Chart Consults
Opportunities for participation in medical student education and adjunct faculty at Geisinger School of Medicine
