Position Overview
A growing healthcare organization in the Southeast is seeking a General Neurosurgeon to provide both clinical care and physician leadership within an established practice. This role offers the opportunity to help shape clinical operations improve patient outcomes and support a multidisciplinary care team focused on delivering high-quality neurosurgical services.
This physician will partner closely with administrative leadership to guide clinical operations enhance patient care processes and support long-term strategic growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients in both clinic and hospital settings
  • Partner with clinic leadership to help define service offerings clinical workflows equipment needs and operational planning
  • Support development and implementation of patient care policies procedures and clinical protocols
  • Maintain high standards of care through quality improvement initiatives and outcome monitoring
  • Collaborate with hospital and clinic leadership on patient care strategies and performance metrics
  • Build strong referral relationships with physicians employers and community partners
  • Assist with marketing efforts to expand service visibility and growth opportunities
  • Participate in business planning budgeting and long-term operational strategy
  • Support financial oversight initiatives including reporting controls and planning efforts
  • Participate in department committees and interdisciplinary initiatives
  • Address physician-related concerns and maintain strong relationships across medical staff

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active physician license in the state where the clinic operates (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Successful completion of neurosurgery residency training
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligible for medical staff credentialing and hospital privileges
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal settings
  • Ability to respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations

  • Prior leadership experience in a clinic hospital or surgical practice setting
  • Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Background in program development or service line growth
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and financial planning
