We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume multi-outlet campus dining program at the University at Martin in Martin TN. This leadership role carries full operational financial and contractual accountability for residential dining retail food operations and catering services.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong hospitality experience proven P&L ownership and a track record of managing complex food service environments in institutional or campus settings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all dining operations across residential retail and catering units within a single campus account
Serve as the primary client contact maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer and stakeholder satisfaction
Own full financial performance including budgeting forecasting cost control payroll and cash management
Direct and develop a management team responsible for daily operations staffing and special events
Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and workplace safety standards
Drive operational excellence through process improvement innovation and service enhancements
Recruit train and develop staff to build a culture of accountability engagement and service quality
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve profitability and efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Minimum 5 years of food service management experience
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing managers in a high-volume operation
Proven experience as a General Manager or Operations Manager with full on-site contract accountability
Experience managing food service accounts with $3M annual revenue
Strong background in P&L management budgeting and financial reporting
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety sanitation and workplace safety compliance
Experience in campus or university dining is strongly preferred

Large-scale institutional food service (healthcare corporate campuses military or corrections dining)
Multi-unit operational leadership with full financial responsibility
