Job Summary
Job Summary:
As a General Manager you willmanage the activity inyour assignedfacility in a manner that maximizes productivity meets customer requirements minimizes costs advances lean manufacturingandcontinuous improvement practicespromotesresponsible use of AI tools and concepts to support operational decision-making and maintainsa safe working environmentin accordance with company policy.
Essential Functions:
Review development of plant-wide budgets and follow up on variances from actual activity.
Prepare the facility capital expenditure plan and review equipment justifications.
Provide strategic direction and operational leadership to ensure facility performance aligns with company goals customerexpectationsand financialobjectives.
Direct manufacturing to meet customer and companyexpectations.
Establish quality target goals foreach manufacturingdepartment.
Participateoncross-functional task teams.
Champion lean manufacturing practices continuous improvement initiatives waste reductioneffortsand standardized work processes across direct and indirect areas of responsibility.
Evaluate and supportappropriate useof AI tools automationconceptsand data-driven technologies to improve productivity quality scheduling problem solving and operational decision-making while following company policies and data confidentiality requirements.
Develop direct and indirect reports through coachingtrainingand succession planning whilemaintainingrole readiness through key process documentation and leadership bench development.
Ensure all safety and work rules and regulations arefollowed.
Communicate with departments throughout the corporation asneeded.
Communicate with customers and sales representatives asneeded.
Carry outleadershipresponsibilitiesin accordance withthe organizations policies and applicablelaws.

MinimumRequirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field and ten years of experience in print manufacturing preferred; or
Associate degree in Business Finance or a related field and twelve years of experience in print manufacturing preferred.
