Job Summary
The General Machine Helper is responsible for operating a manual (non-programmed) industrial sewing machine to assemble nylon components according to specifications. This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to follow measurements accurately.
Pay Rate:$14.00 hourly
Schedule:Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location:Near Frost Bank Center
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a manual industrial sewing machine to sew nylon materials
Follow work instructions patterns and production guidelines
Measure and cut materials using rulers and measuring tools
Ensure stitch quality and product consistency
Inspect finished products for defects or inaccuracies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Ability to perform basic math including fractions and measurements
Must be able to pass background and drug screen
Proficient in reading and using a ruler accurately
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Previous sewing or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
