General Liability Claims Representative - Bodily Injury

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Liability Claims Representative specializing in Bodily Injuryto join a team. This role involves directly handling business owner liability claims analyzing coverage issues and performing routine claim adjusting functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical writing and interpersonal skills along with a solid understanding of standard industry liability forms. This is a 100% remote temporary-to-hire position.

• Hourly Rate: $37 - $41 per hour
• Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

Final compensation will be determined based on candidate qualifications geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.

• Manage an active caseload of general liability bodily injury claims under business owner policies.
• Analyze coverage issues under various forms including Business Owners Coverage Garagekeepers Hired Non-Owned Auto and Auto Services.
• Investigate evaluate and position claims based on applicable coverage.
• Collaborate on setting reserves at appropriate levels for claims.
• Exercise sound judgment in managing Allocated Loss Adjustment Expenses (ALAE) during claims investigations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of claim files in accordance with established guidelines.
• Obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as required.

• Bachelors degree (BA/BS) preferred.
• CPCU or other industry designations are a plus.
• State adjuster license(s).
