General Laborer (Part-time Opportunity)

We are looking for a General Laborer to provide support for the manufacturing of high-tech microscopy preparation equipment. Work setting is a small footprint clean climate-controlled manufacturing facility supporting electromechanical assembly precision machine shop. This could be a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to enter the manufacturing or machining industry.

Hours: Part-time flexible scheduling for 16 24 hours per week. Hours to be performed from 8:30am and 5pm.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Housekeeping / 5S responsibilities in production assembly shipping & receiving and precision machine shop
• Assist full-time staff through cleaning preparing and polishing precision machined parts for production and assembly
• Participate in special projects for betterment / efficiency of production teams
• Augment logistics associates ranging from receiving inventory and shipping
• Duties could vary from day to day based on needs of production and management
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting a plus but not required
• Must be reliable and dependable.
