General Labor

We are hiring dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join a busy scrap metal recycling facility in Cleveland. This is a physically active position where youll play a vital role in sorting materials maintaining a clean work environment and supporting daily yard operations. No previous scrap industry experience is requiredwe will train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals
• Pick materials from conveyors containers and scrap piles
• Remove contaminants from scrap streams
• Shovel scrap dirt dust and debris into designated areas or processing equipment
• Sweep and maintain clean safe work areas throughout the facility
• Assist equipment operators with material movement and cleanup
• Load and unload materials using hand tools such as shovels brooms and magnets
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Support daily housekeeping and material flow throughout the operation

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
• Manufacturing warehouse construction demolition landscaping foundry recycling or labor experience is a plus
• Safety-focused mindset
