Our services support some of the largest construction infrastructure government military and commercial projects throughout Arizona and the Southwest.
As a General Field Assistant you will support our GPR Technicians and Concrete Coring Technicians in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry while learning specialized technical skills.
No two days are the same. You may be assisting with equipment setup helping locate utilities supporting concrete drilling operations documenting field findings maintaining tools or traveling to project sites throughout Arizona.
- Assist GPR and concrete coring technicians on job sites
- Load unload and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Help set up and operate specialized scanning and locating equipment
- Support concrete coring and drilling operations
- Read basic construction drawings and site plans
- Document field activities and project information
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors coworkers and customers
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in Arizona weather
- Ability to travel locally to project sites
- Comfortable using smartphones tablets and basic computer programs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Construction experience is helpful but not required
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Strong critical thinking problem-solving and comprehension skills
Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred but not required
Previous Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) experience is not required
Construction utility locating surveying engineering or field service experience is a plus
Proficient with technology and willing to learn specialized software and equipment
Familiarity with Apple products is preferred. Advanced G.P.R. utilizes iPads and iPhones daily for field documentation report generation photographs and communication.
Candidates with strong computer skills may have opportunities to work with Radan 7 software a specialized geophysical processing program used for 3D modeling of subsurface structures utilities concrete reinforcement and underground anomalies.
Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles and access client properties.
Ability to lift equipment work outdoors and perform field work in varying weather and job site conditions.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening including background check driving record review and drug screening.
Be punctual dependable and team-oriented professionals.
Enjoy working on a variety of construction infrastructure commercial government and industrial projects.
Have the opportunity and desire to travel to different cities and states as project needs require.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help solve client challenges in the field.
Be comfortable learning and operating advanced technology and specialized equipment.
Create accurate reports sketches and documentation of field findings using clear and professional written communication.
Demonstrate excellent grammar attention to detail and organizational skills.
Have the flexibility to work varying schedules including occasional nights weekends and overtime as project demands require.
