General Custodian (evening shift)

HOURS: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn
• Ability to do physical labor

REPORTS TO: Building Principal/Area Supervisor

JOB GOAL: To provide students with a safe attractive comfortable clean and efficient place in which to learn play and develop.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Scrub mop wax and polish floors as needed.
2. Vacuum and clean carpet.
3. Dust and polish furniture wash windows woodwork venetian blinds and bathrooms.
4. Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
5. Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
6. Move office and school furniture as needed.
7. Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
8. Perform some heavy lifting.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary Range: Range 1 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($15.00/hr. - $21.06/hr. depending on relevant experience)

Length of Contract: 182 contract days 8 hours per day

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Personnel Status: Classified
