Job Summary
A well-established manufacturer in the Cleveland area is seeking an experienced Gear Hobbing Machine Operator for a 1st shift opportunity. This role is responsible for setting up and operating gear hobbing equipment to produce precision components while maintaining strict quality standards.
What Youll Do:
- Set up and operate gear hobbing machines
- Read blueprints and work from engineering drawings
- Perform inspections using precision measuring tools
- Make machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
- Maintain quality and production standards
What Were Looking For:
- Experience operating gear hobbing machines or similar gear-cutting equipment
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience with micrometers calipers and precision measuring instruments
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Manufacturing or machining experience required
