GE Vernova Contract Management Internship Summer2027

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Contract Management team in theanalysis and interpretationof project-wise commercial issuesfrominitialidentification through final resolution.

• Read review and interpretnew power plant contractswith customers spread across the United States Canada and Latin America.

• Assistin the development ofautomated toolsto streamline change order management processes.

• Support assigned contracts in executionworking closelywith Contract Managers Project Managers and customers.

• Contribute to thepreparation of contractual correspondence includingchangeorders letters and customer notifications.

• Assistintracking andreportingonrisk mitigation vendor recovery and commercial deliverables.

• Develop and deliverpresentations on contract topicsto internal stakeholders.

• Complete special projects as assignedcontributing to continuous improvement initiativeswithin the team.

• Organize andmaintainlegacy contract documents and electronic filesto ensure accuracy and accessibility.

May or June 2027 to August 2027 (Summer).

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program inBusiness Engineering Law ora relatedfield.

• ProficiencyinMicrosoft Office Suite including Excel Word and PowerPoint with the ability to prepare detailed analyses and presentations.

• Strongwritten and oral communication skillsin English including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

• Demonstratedability tomanage multiple tasks simultaneouslyand deliver results in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

• Problem-solving attitudeready to work on high-level complex problemswhile developing customer-centric GE Gas Powersolutions.
  

Eligibility Requirements

• Must belegally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout requiring current or future sponsorship.

• Must be availabletowork onsite in Schenectady NY for a 12-week Summer 2027 internship experience.

• You have a passion forcommercial contract management energy infrastructure or power generationand a curiosity for how complex projects are structured and executed.

• You have a passion fordata-driven problem solving including using tools like Excel or other platforms to build automated solutions that improve team efficiency.

• You are someone who bringsstrong attention to detail and organizational discipline capable of managing andmaintainingcritical documentation with a high degree of accuracy.

• You are someone whocommunicates with confidence and clarity both in writing and in presentations and can translate complex commercial concepts for diverse audiences.

• You have experience withdatabase management contract analysis or project coordinationthrough coursework prior internships or extracurricular activities.

• You have experienceworking in cross-functional or team-based environmentsdemonstratingthe ability to collaborate effectively acrossdifferent functionsand stakeholders.

• You are eager to applyAI tools and emerging technologiesto solve problems in a professional contract management setting.

The pay for this position ranges from $1000 weekly to 2000 weekly based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.
