Job Summary
Role Responsibilities
- Conducton-the-floor and video-based observationsof manufacturing and inspection processes to document manual time and automatic cycle time.
- Collect process timing data acrossShared Resource operations high-volume machining processes and QA laboratory inspection processes includingCMM operations.
- Ensure collected data isaccurate complete and organizedfor use in productivity analysis and operations improvement efforts.
- Partner with operations manufacturing engineering quality and support teams to clarify process steps and validate observed information.
- Assist in identifyingprocess inefficiencies waste and improvement opportunitieswithin observed workflows.
- Support the documentation ofstandard work by operationto improve process consistency and visibility.
- Help developstandard work combination sheetsand other operational improvement materials as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and attention to safety while working in production and laboratory environments.
- Provide timely updates summaries and documentation to support ongoing improvement projects.
- Work onsite and maintain aflexible scheduleto support observations across multiple shifts including early mornings evenings and other off-shift hours as needed.
- This internship will last from Sept - December and does not include relocation
- This is a part time role approx 20 hours as week
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

- Interest inoperations manufacturing lean principles or continuous improvement.
- Ability to organize data and document findings clearly and consistently.

- Willingness to learn manufacturing and inspection processes in a hands-on environment.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible and dependable with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industrial engineering quality systems or time study methods is helpful but not required.
