Job Title: Senior MuleSoft Engineer - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 11 12 Months

Job Description:
As a Senior MuleSoft Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and managing APIs and integration solutions using enterprise integration platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions while ensuring high performance and reliability of integration services. This role requires deep expertise in API design data transformation and integration patterns to support modern distributed systems and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical integration designs
  • Develop reusable integration frameworks templates and best practices
  • Ensure API quality performance and security through adherence to standards and governance policies
  • Monitor troubleshoot and optimize API and integration performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including API specifications and data flow diagrams
  • Support deployment maintenance and troubleshooting of integrations in production environments
  • Develop and execute MUnit tests to ensure reliability and quality of integrations
  • Implement and manage integration patterns using REST and SOAP-based services
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and version control practices for integration delivery
  • Work with databases and data transformation tools to ensure seamless data exchange

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Strong expertise in API design using REST SOAP RAML and OpenAPI specifications
  • Experience with MuleSoft components such as API Manager Runtime Manager and DataWeave
  • Proficiency in Java XML JSON and related technologies
  • Experience with integration patterns and microservices architecture
  • Strong experience with MUnit testing and API lifecycle management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git
  • Experience working with relational databases and JDBC connectivity
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA) (preferred)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud (preferred)
  • Advanced experience with MuleSoft version 4.2 or higher and Anypoint Platform (preferred)
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices (preferred)
  • Familiarity with enterprise data modeling and ETL processes (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $70.00 to $100.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
