Job Description:
As a Senior Dynatrace Engineer you will lead the design implementation and optimization of enterprise monitoring and observability solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will ensure high system performance availability and reliability by enabling end-to-end visibility across infrastructure applications and services. This role requires deep expertise in performance monitoring tools strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive proactive issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure maintain and optimize Dynatrace monitoring solutions for enterprise environments
• Develop dashboards alerts and health checks to ensure system availability and performance
• Enable end-to-end observability across infrastructure applications and services
• Monitor Windows Linux and virtualized environments including cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and GCP
• Support monitoring of databases middleware and network components
• Analyze trends capacity utilization and performance metrics to improve system reliability
• Implement application performance monitoring and transaction tracing using Dynatrace
• Support synthetic and real user monitoring to enhance user experience insights
• Participate in incident response and provide insights during troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Identify monitoring gaps and ensure comprehensive coverage across systems
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues
• Enhance monitoring standards documentation and best practices
• Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring configurations and alert strategies
• Integrate monitoring tools with IT service management platforms

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in systems engineering infrastructure support or monitoring roles
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
• Experience with virtualized environments such as VMware
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS Azure and GCP
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS TCP/IP and load balancing
• Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell or Bash (preferred)
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes monitoring
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to system monitoring and performance optimization

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
