Job Description:
As a Project Manager you will lead and manage multiple end-to-end IT application and software development projects while ensuring adherence to governance standards timelines and quality expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders to drive execution improve processes and maintain structured project delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This role requires strong organizational communication and analytical skills to manage complex project portfolios with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver multiple IT application and software development projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with stakeholders technical teams and vendors to ensure project alignment and progress
  • Develop and maintain project schedules roadmaps and deliverables using structured methodologies
  • Apply hybrid project management approaches combining Waterfall governance with Agile execution
  • Monitor project performance track milestones and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Analyze contractual documentation to extract scope deliverables and compliance requirements
  • Conduct project meetings prepare agendas and facilitate effective collaboration across teams
  • Maintain project documentation including charters plans reports and meeting notes
  • Create dashboards and reports to track team velocity risks and overall project health
  • Identify risks constraints and opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure proper communication channels and escalation processes are maintained
  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project Jira and ServiceNow
  • Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain detailed records of activities follow-ups and project artifacts

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

  • 5 years of project management experience in IT applications or software development
  • Strong experience with both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Project Online
  • Experience managing multiple projects in parallel with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interpret and manage contractual obligations and deliverables
  • Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira ServiceNow or similar
  • Ability to create dashboards and analyze project data and performance metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex project documentation
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint Confluence and Outlook
  • PMP CAPM or related certification (preferred)
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or related field (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
