Job Description:
As an IT Enterprise Business Analyst you will support project initiation procurement activities and business systems analysis for enterprise IT initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to gather analyze and document business and technical requirements while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical facilitation and documentation skills to drive successful project initiation support procurement processes and contribute to the delivery of scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in demand management processes to define business cases and project scope
- Gather analyze validate and document business functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and solution requirements
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews workshops and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
- Develop documentation including process workflows use cases user stories and system diagrams
- Perform current (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process analysis
- Create data mappings logical data models and metadata documentation
- Develop screen mockups wireframes and reporting requirements
- Maintain requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate delivered solutions
- Assist in development of procurement documentation including Statements of Work (SOW) and solicitations
- Coordinate with vendors procurement legal and technical teams during evaluation processes
- Support SDLC activities and collaborate with project teams during implementation
- Provide status updates maintain work logs and manage task tracking activities
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and business/data analysis practices
- Experience gathering documenting and managing complex requirements
- Experience facilitating workshops interviews and stakeholder meetings
- Expertise in process modeling workflow diagrams and functional documentation
- Experience documenting As-Is and To-Be processes and creating UI mockups
- Experience supporting procurement activities including SOW creation and vendor coordination
- Strong analytical communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience supporting public sector or regulated environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira ServiceNow Visio SharePoint or similar (preferred)
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum Waterfall or hybrid methodologies (preferred)
- Certification such as CBAP (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
