Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gastroenterologist you will join a leading physician-facing organization dedicated to providing high-value top-quality gastroenterological care accessible to diverse communities. This position offer a work-life balance with 36 hours of patient-facing time and only 7 on call shifts per month.

Each day you will leverage your expertise to diagnose treat and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions contributing to the health and well-being of your patients.

To be successful in this role you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist committed to upholding the ethical standards of the American Medical Association and specialized medical boards. You will possess exceptional clinical skills a patient-centered approach and a passion for delivering high-quality accessible healthcare.

  • Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation:Physicians provide superior ambulatory care conducting examinations services and maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies including those for managed care Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards:Physicians strictly comply with all federal and state reimbursement plans the ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities and the Hospitals comprehensive policies procedures and medical staff bylaws rules and regulations.
  • Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review:Physicians actively participate in clinical and quality improvement initiatives contribute to physician peer review utilization review and serve on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery.
  • Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth:Physicians advise on operational matters including personnel business oversight and equipment evaluation while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification staying abreast of the latest medical developments.

We are offering a highly competitive compensation package featuring a $700000 guaranteed base salary (plus RVU incentive pay) a$50000 sign-on bonus$15000 relocation assistance$30000 student loan repayment CME funds flexible time away and a generous 401(k) with match.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Board-eligible/Board-certified
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Colorado
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastroenterology care principles
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
