FWS Student Worker I, Front Desk and Activity Assistant (Ontario, CA Campus)

OPPORTUNITY:Federal Work Study student workers assist various departments per the approved positions work performed must be in the context of assisting students. Approved positions include:Front Desk AssistantActivity AssistantJOB SCHEDULE:This is a part-time role working Monday through Thursday from 3pm - 7pm local time or 12 hours weekly. This is only for 5 out of the 8 weeks in the academic session when the Ontario campus is open (Weeks 1 3 4 5 & 7).RESPONSIBILITIES:Greets students and assist in answering general students with part-time job parking and insurance general questions/ customer service for students (e.g. greeting answering telephones and taking messages from students).Providing clerical support of student records/activities (e.g. filing sorting light typing telephone answering packet assembly etc.).Orienting new students who have enrolled providing materials/services offered by the institution (e.g. housing part-time jobs etc.).Contacting students needed by various student student contact students at counter and directing students to appropriate students with transcripts schedule and course changes and demographic students in the appeals process Graduation Petition process registration process adds and drops and student central appointments during peak registration with student related campus events and organizations job fairs Senior Project and other special projects related specifically to :To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum requirements of the education experience knowledge and skills required to competently perform in this position.
