Job Description:

FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM Dual Enrollment

This job is aFederal Work Studynon-benefitedposition in the Recruitment Division that reports to theManager Dual Enrollment. Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a federally funded program by the Department of Education. This program provides part-time jobs for undergraduate students with significant financial need and is administered by the FWS Coordinator and the Office of Financial Aidin accordance withthe law federal regulations and with instructions from the United States Department of Education.

Salary: $13.50 per hour.

Hours:19hoursper week - Flexible Monday Thursday 8amuntil5pmand Friday 8am until 4pm.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must beeligible for funds through the Federal Work Study Program for the current semesterat Gwinnett Technical College and be in good academic standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the minimum qualificationsmustbe able to type quickly and accurately use Microsoft Office able to communicate professionally via phone email in-personand a software messaging system. Ability to handle multiple tasks; use proper judgment in directing questions to appropriate staff forassistance.

Job Description Summary:
Under close supervision provides clerical support and officeassistanceto Recruitment and related personnel.At the direction of assigned supervisor provides information andassistanceto internal and external customers.
