Job Summary
Nesco Resource is now hiring for experienced 1st Shift Furniture Hand Sander positions at a local facility in Hickory NC.
Hand sand furniture components and case goods to prepare surfaces for finishing.
Smooth wood surfaces edges corners and detailed areas to meet established quality standards.
Inspect furniture pieces for imperfections and complete necessary touch-ups before moving products to the next stage of production.
Use sanding tools equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
Follow production specifications and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing cabinetry case goods hand sanding spraying finishing assembly prep or related manufacturing experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Must be dependable detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour. Candidates with 1 year or more of relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate based on experience.
Shift: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
