Fund Accountant – VC Fund Administration

Fund Accountant to support Fidelitys venture capital fund administration platform. This role focuses on delivering core accounting and reporting activities while gaining exposure to complex fund structures client interactions and scalable operating processes. This position is ideal for an accountant looking to deepen their venture capital expertise in a collaborative growthoriented environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 24 years of fund accounting public accounting or financial services experience.

• Exposure to investor related documents such as LPAs subdocs capital account statements etc

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Accounting Finance or related field.

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

• Experience with venture capital or private equity funds.

• Experience with fund accounting platforms (Allvue Investran QuickBooks etc.)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients

• CPA certification an MBA or similar relevant experience is a plus

The Value You Deliver

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP

• Calculate and assist with capital calls distributions and investor allocations.

• Track portfolio investments and cash activity.

• Support preparation for quarterly and annual financial reporting including schedules and support for footnotes.

• Assist with audit and tax results including preparation of support for K1 reporting and results.

• Support client service team by preparing accurate and timely results.

• Maintain fund and investor data within fund administration systems.

• Coordinate internally to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.

• Escalate issues and questions appropriately to senior team members.

Fidelitys Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope geographic location candidates relevant experience and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
