Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as Management Services (KMS) is seeking a highly qualified experienced and self-motivated Functional SAP Consultant to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) in Fort Lee this direct part-time semi-remote role you will provide critical functional expertise to support DeCAs transition to an SAP ERP platform directly contributing to the modernization of their supply chain and retail operations. You will partner closely with business leaders internal IT professionals and external vendor teams to ensure the smooth implementation deployment and long-term sustainment of SAP include medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan paid time off paid parental leave life and disability insurance flexible spending accounts commuter benefits and tuition ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive adaptable and highly comfortable bridging the gap between technical and business environments. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required and the selected candidate must be able to successfully obtain a Public Trust Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on SAP product functionality and support with IT Product Support solution providers vendors and business and articulate customer-specific system challenges to facilitate solution-based strategies. Support discovery testing implementation and deployment prioritize and resolve system issues; coordinate with help desk and solution product deployments upgrades and ongoing sustainment user acceptance testing (UAT) for new releases and system feedback and prepare after-action reports for all testing implementations and and maintain product support documentation user guides and job reports and communicate status risks and resolutions to subject matter expertise on product functionality and identify system vs process related training and guidance to end users on system functionality and best RequiredU. S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust Consultant Certification and/or equivalent SAP functional experience.3 years of experience in SAP product support and/or system problem-solving and troubleshooting with software deployment testing and communication skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences.
