Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

Georgia Families in Transition is looking for individuals to join our community-based mental health team!

TheTherapistposition is focused on providing individual/family mental health counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches of care for children adolescents and adults in theclients county location. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing individual/family mental health counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches of care.
• Timely documentation submission
• Commitment to providing consistent ongoing services to clients
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning
• Participate in coordination of care with a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Meet or exceed agency required productivity and documentation standards
• For this role services are either providedin person or via Telehealth depending on the clientsauthorization and clinical needs. For clients seenin-home case assignments are organized bycounty location typically withinan hour or less of travel.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must hold anactive LPC LCSW or LMFT license in the State of Georgia(required)
• Minimum of aMasters degreein psychology social work or a related human services discipline
• Preferred Certification:While not a requirement possessing aCADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor)credential is considered astrong plus. This certification demonstrates advanced knowledge and competency in substance use disorder treatment and will be highly valued in this role.
• Therapists will primarily be assigned toprivate insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clientsand should be willing to become credentialed with insurance panels as needed. Candidates must also be prepared to provide the required information and documentation to complete their CAQH profiles to facilitate credentialing and billing processes.
• Must be able to pass DBHDD background check (required prior to providing any services to clients)
• Completion of state-mandated training within the first 30 days of hire: CPR/First Aid CPI CSSRS Relias
• Knowledge of Medicaid/CMO compliance requirements preferred
• Demonstrable knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
• Willingness to learn new documentation and clinical skills
• Receptivity to feedback and constructive criticism
• Prompt communication collaborative personality and passion for mental health and human services
• Bilingual skills advantageous

Additional Information

• Job Type:Full-time contractual position
• Pay rate: $70 per service hour for Private Insurance Clients and $50-$60 per service hour for CMO Clients
• Location Requirement:Must reside in or have reliable transportation to provide in-person services withinAtlanta/Metro Atlanta County GA
• Flexible forboth in person and telehealth
• Schedule Requirements:Must be flexible to work afterschool hours and weekends in order to accommodate the needs of the clients served. With availability to provide services duringmorning afternoon and/or evening hours.
