Description

Our Youth Advocates play a vital role in guiding youth toward stability confidence and successwhile gaining meaningful experience in human services. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with youth a commitment to youth empowerment and advocacy as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


What you will be doing to make a difference:

  • Driving is required
  • Spending time with and supervising 9 youth in a small home like environment
  • Providing support and encouragement to youth
  • Ensuring the overall safety of youth in the program
  • Assist youth with their service goals including homework help coping skills and behavior management
  • Acting as a positive role model to support youths wellbeing

Schedule:

Full Time 40 hours per week. Sun/Mon/Tue 3 pm -11 pm Wed 10a-6pm and Sat or Sun 7am -3 pm

Requirements

Valid MA drivers license with acceptable driving record

Experience working with youth

Education: Bachelors degree in Psychology Social Work Child Development or Teaching
