Full-Time Sonographer (Willow Park)

Location: Willow Park TX
Schedule: Full-time MondayFriday 8:30 AM4:30 PM
No weekends or on-call
Compensation: Based on experience

• Current ARDMS certification

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety education comfort and excellent image quality.

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Verify patient identity review orders and obtain relevant medical history.
• Explain procedures answer questions and help reduce patient anxiety.
• Properly position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness before concluding each examination.
• Accurately document patient care and examination details in the RIS/PACS.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Follow infection-control patient-safety and emergency-response policies.
• Perform required equipment quality-control checks and report malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain current professional and technical knowledge.
• Comply with applicable federal state and professional standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists coworkers and referring offices to support efficient patient care.
• Assist with other related duties as needed.
