COMPENSATION:
- $200000 to $250000 Base Salary negotiable dependent upon experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will see patients in skilled nursing facilities and other long-term care settings. Providers work autonomously in the field and are remotely supported by a robust clinical and administrative team.
A low volume of patients are seen per day allowing ample time to focus on all needs and to provide proper attention and support.
The duties of the role may include:
- provide high-quality complex geriatric care
- ensure engagement with facility leadership other providers patients and families
- supervise nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants
- audit documentation for each supervised provider on a monthly basis
- collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed
- participate in the on-call schedule
- attend trainings and meetings as required
The new physician will also focus on quality outcomes including but not limited to:
- care path compliance
- prevention of avoidable transfers
- decrease in polypharmacy
- costs of care
The practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tennessee medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification relevant field (Internal / Family Medicine Geriatrics etc.)
- experience supervising APPs
- 3 years relevant clinical practice experience
