Job Summary
This position supports pediatric patients from birth through 21 years of age within a highly specialized clinical environment focused on improving quality of life for medically complex children and their families. The facility provides a nurturing patient-centered atmosphere designed to support both physical and emotional well-being.
Services within the setting include:
- Pediatric rehabilitation therapy
- Skilled nursing and medical care
- Therapeutic recreation
- Palliative and hospice support services
- Specialized educational programming
- Family respite services
This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who is passionate about pediatric nutrition and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor nutrition interventions and patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff therapists caregivers and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions
- Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Clinical nutrition experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
- Annual salary: $76000$83000
