This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during nighttime hours providing exceptional service to our guests and maintaining the accuracy of financial records.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records providing exceptional guest services and maintaining the security of the hotel during nighttime hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Reporting: Accurately balance daily financial transactions and prepare comprehensive nightly audit reports.
- Guest Services: Manage guest check-ins and check-outs and address any inquiries or requests from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
- Security Oversight: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel during the night shift.
- Accounting Duties: Audit balance post and report on front desk rooms and food and beverage outlets cash and credit transactions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highschool or equivalent experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Yardi experience is helpful but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position may occasionally require lifting luggage up to 50 pounds.
