Full Time Mechanic GROWMARK FS, LLC Bridgeton, NJ

SALARY RANGE: $25.00 - $27.00 - Hourly

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Schedules and performs vehicle and equipment repairs in response to requests from staff and location managers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Schedules maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment as requested.

Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance.

Maintains service records of each piece of equipment and vehicle to document a quality maintenance program and meet DOT requirements.

Responsible for the housekeeping of the shop.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

May be required to provide backup to drivers in the Energy and Crops Departments.

Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program Environmental Health and Safety OSHA and DOT policies and procedures as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof and 5 years or more of related work experience.

Required skills include fabrication cutting welding bearing replacement engine service/maintenance/adjustments (both gas & diesel) automotive electrical brake adjustment/repair (both mechanical & air) and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge collaboration communication customer focus decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record

Normally requires an acceptable CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements

Frequently exposed or required to:

• Extreme weather conditions (hot cold wet etc.)
• Noisy conditions
• Working conditions may include dust fumes chemicals and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
• May be required to work at varying heights
• Confined spaces
• Lift 51-70 pounds.
• Required to push heavy objects

Ability to work extended hours.

Ability to travel independently and overnight.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
