Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic educator who is passionate about creating a positive learning environment where preschool-aged children can develop socially emotionally physically and academically through hands-on play-based learning.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing engaging classroom experiences while fostering strong relationships with children families and fellow educators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily classroom activities
• Create a safe welcoming and engaging preschool learning environment
• Support childrens social emotional cognitive language and physical development
• Encourage independence creativity and positive peer interactions
• Observe assess and document childrens developmental progress
• Maintain regular communication with families regarding classroom activities and student growth
• Guide and support Assistant Teachers while promoting a collaborative classroom culture
• Maintain classroom organization and ensure compliance with health safety and licensing standards
• Work closely with center leadership to support program quality and daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Preschool Teacher or Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or early learning program is required
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
• Experience planning and implementing preschool curriculum
• Excellent classroom management communication and organizational skills
• Positive dependable and team-oriented attitude
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings and background requirements
