Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe engaging and nurturing classroom where toddlers can learn explore and grow through play-based experiences.

We are looking for a caring dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and is eager to learn. No previous childcare experience is requiredwe provide training and ongoing support to help you build a successful career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers
• Create a positive safe and engaging classroom environment
• Encourage learning through play music storytelling art and hands-on activities
• Support childrens social emotional cognitive and physical development
• Help children build confidence independence and positive peer relationships
• Assist with daily routines including meals naps toileting and transitions
• Observe childrens progress and share updates with families
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom goals
• Maintain a clean organized and healthy learning environment
• Follow all health safety and licensing requirements

Qualifications

• No previous experience requiredpaid training provided
• Genuine interest in working with toddlers and supporting early childhood development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient dependable and positive attitude
• Ability to guide children with kindness and consistency
• Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation practices is a plus
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings
