Full Stack Java Software Engineer Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC. This is an 18 month contract opportunity.

This role supports a major platform migration for credit card servicing applications moving from a stack to a modern technology stack including Java MongoDB and React. The ideal candidate will work on complex initiatives contributing to the resolution of multifaceted software engineering challenges while collaborating strategically with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables

Requirements:

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience
• 5 years of experience with Java (version 15 or newer)
• 3 years of experience with React
• 3 years of experience with MongoDB
• Experience with OCP/Kubernetes
• Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) applications such as IBM BPM Pega or Azure Logic

Desired skills:

• .Net engineering experience
• AI prompt experience having written playbooks
• Experience with Autosys

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
