Full Stack Engineer (Java, Cloud, Data)

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Java Cloud Data)
Location: Westlake TX. Open to relocation but local candidates given first priority.
Schedule: Hybrid onsite every other week (5 days per week).

The Role
This role is for an experienced software developer supporting a major modernization effort for retirement medical and savings account platforms. The position is a heavy development role focused on building and deploying cloud-based applications with 5 years of Java and Spring/Spring Boot experience and 2 years of design experience required.

The ideal candidate has strong microservices experience cloud experience with AWS or Azure database knowledge across SQL NoSQL relational or cloud-based databases and hands-on deployment tools such as Jenkins Docker Git Kubernetes Kafka Splunk or DataDog. Nice-to-have skills include Azure Yugabyte data engineering ETL exposure Spring Batch deployment experience and Angular.

Must Have:

• Java Spring Boot
• Spring (No RestAPIs)
• Some Micro Services
• Cloud (AWS or Azure)
• Data Ugabyte is preferred but SQL noSQLcloud based relational database or anything like this will be fine

Nice to Have:

• Data engineering a plus
• Angular but not required
• Deployment experience
• ETL Exposure
• Spring Batch
