Job Description
Position Summary
The Full Stack Developer will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining a centralized data management and project coordination platform that supports all departments within FLIRs Optical Systems Group (OSG). This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and refine system requirements ensuring the platform effectively supports organizational processes data visibility and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing end-to-end applications integrating database and server-side technologies with intuitive user-friendly interfaces. This role requires a strong foundation in software development database architecture and system integration along with a passion for creating scalable solutions that enhance business operations.
As a foundational member of a growing team the Full Stack Developer will help shape OSGs operational technology strategy and contribute to the development of critical tools that support the organization during a period of significant growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop enhance and maintain a centralized business application for data management and project coordination.
- Partner with stakeholders across the Optical Systems Group to gather refine and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces that provide intuitive access to organizational data and workflows.
- Build and integrate server-side applications APIs and database systems to support application functionality.
- Design implement test and optimize database structures to ensure data integrity performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve application and system issues.
- Implement software development best practices including version control testing documentation and code reviews.
- Collaborate with team members to define and evolve OSGs operational technology infrastructure and long-term roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing full-stack web applications.
- Strong understanding of server-side development database design and application architecture.
- Experience with relational databases and database management practices.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Department of State.

Salary Range:
$90800.00-$121100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location local regulations (such as minimum wage) education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
