• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with federal and state regulations company policies and quality standards.
• Review and verify prescriptions for dosage accuracy potential interactions and contraindications based on patient-specific factors.
• Provide oversight guidance and quality assurance for pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate preparation and packaging of medications.
• Maintain complete and compliant documentation for prescriptions inventory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with prescribers pharmacy leadership and team members to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in audits process improvements and continuous quality initiatives to enhance pharmacy workflows and ensure patient safety.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Licensure: Active unrestricted Pharmacist License
• Certifications: Eligibility to participate in federal prescription programs (Medicare Medicaid)
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Experience in a high-volume community mail order or fulfillment pharmacy
• Skills: Strong analytical communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Technical Proficiency: Experience using pharmacy management software barcode verification systems and EHRs
