JOB TITLE: Fuel Cell Sealer

PAY RATE: $44.00/hour

Summary:

  • Apply seal fillet fay cap seal brush coat scotch cast leveling compound and aerodynamic seal for major assemblies sub-assemblies precision bench and integral fuel cell.
  • Work from drawings documents process specifications quality control requirements and established processes.
  • Perform pressure testing and complete required data gathering transactions for sealer progression.
  • Perform pickup rework fabrication change incorporation functional testing or check during or after final seal progression.
  • Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.
  • Document discrepancies according to specification process and procedure.
  • Temporarily attach parts and assemblies install collars and other hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.
  • Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and related wing section components (Integral Fuel Cell Sealing).
  • Perform major assembly large structure sealing and aerodynamic sealing.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Experience with sealing compounds for integral fuel cell and wing section components.
  • Ability to work from blueprints changes specifications work orders and quality requirements.
  • Experience with pressure testing and sealing progression data transactions.
  • Experience with pickup rework fabrication change incorporation and functional testing of sealed components.
  • Ability to use measuring instruments for work assignments.
  • Experience documenting discrepancies per specifications and procedures.
  • Experience temporarily attaching parts assemblies and installing collars and hardware.
  • Experience with major assembly large structure sealing and aerodynamic seal.
  • Ability to train coach and assist employees in manufacturing process.
