Job Summary
Position Title: FSQ Technician 1
Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

- Perform daily floor quality checks including in-process inspections grading sheets and finished product evaluations
- Release or place finished goods on hold based on established quality and food safety criteria
- Verify finished goods documentation to ensure positive release requirements are met
- Conduct laboratory analyses using microbiological chemical physical and sensory testing methods in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Perform sample collection plating swabbing calibration and testing per QMS and Internal Control Plan requirements
- Identify and report out-of-specification materials; support investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain accurate quality food safety and laboratory records (HACCP SSOP net contents sensory holds corrective actions)
- Support investigations related to holds consumer complaints and continuous improvement initiatives
- Uphold GMPs housekeeping hygiene and safety standards across the plant
- Calibrate laboratory equipment and support sample shipment and team coverage as needed
- Associates degree in Food Science Microbiology Chemistry or a related field required
- One year of manufacturing and/or laboratory experience in the food industry preferred (internships considered)
- Basic understanding of food safety HACCP principles and regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of laboratory techniques data recording and GLP standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Sound mathematical and basic food science/statistics skills with the ability to interpret data
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and quality systems
- Proficiency in SAP is considered an asset
Compensation Package:$ - $ Starting at 22.45 USD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
