Job Summary
The FRYSC (Family Resource and Youth Services Center) Program Assistant supports the center coordinator in removing non-academic barriers to learning.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing student referrals.
- Organizing resources.
- Maintaining confidential records.
- Facilitating community outreach.
- Work with the FRYSC coordinator to ensure the implementation of activities as added in each of the FRYSC components.
- Keep records of cases for useage by FRC and outside agencies (when appropriate).
- Assist FRYSC coordinator with financial record keeping.
Qualifications:
- Shall have a working knowledge of computers.
- Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate ability to function in a team oriented environment.
- Shall have a high school diploma GED certificate or demonstrate progress in obtaining a GED as required by Kentucky law.
- Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance
- Shall maintain appropriate working appearance.
- Interpersonal skills; patience courtesy and care.
Physical Demands:
- Wide range of physical movement.
- Use of speech vision and hearing.
- Use of hands of simple grasp and fine motor manipulations (bending squatting reaching with the ability to lift carry push and pull light weights).
- Indoor and outdoor activities.
