Frozen Food Supervisor

The Frozen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the frozen foods department ensuring products are well-stocked properly maintained and merchandised to company standards. This role supports department performance by managing inventory maintaining product quality and leading associates to deliver an efficient and customer-focused shopping experience.

• Oversee stocking rotation and replenishment of frozen products
• Ensure product integrity by maintaining proper freezer temperatures and storage conditions
• Monitor freezer cases for cleanliness organization and functionality
• Execute planograms promotional displays and seasonal sets

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers
• Help customers locate products and offer recommendations when needed
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

• Support ordering processes to maintain proper inventory levels
• Ensure accurate product rotation using FIFO (first-in first-out) standards
• Minimize shrink by monitoring damaged thawed or out-of-date product
• Assist with inventory counts and audits

• Supervise and support frozen department associates
• Assist with training coaching and reinforcing company standards
• Delegate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure efficient workflow
• Promote a positive and accountable team environment

• Maintain a clean organized and visually appealing frozen department
• Ensure shelves and cases are fully stocked and properly faced
• Verify all pricing signage and tags are accurate and current

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain safe working conditions especially around freezer equipment
• Enforce proper lifting techniques and equipment usage
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 12 years of grocery or frozen department experience preferred
• Prior leadership experience is a plus
• Strong organization communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in freezing temperatures for extended periods
• Frequent lifting pushing and pulling of up to 4050 lbs
• Continuous standing walking and bending throughout the shift
• Flexible availability including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
