Frozen Food Supervisor

Position Overview
The Frozen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Frozen Department to ensure excellent product availability quality merchandising and customer service. This role supports day-to-day operations drives sales performance and leads team execution while maintaining food safety and company standards.

• Maintain proper stock levels to ensure shelves and freezers are full faced and sales-ready at all times
• Execute efficient ordering receiving and inventory control processes
• Monitor shrink and implement corrective actions to minimize loss
• Ensure accurate pricing signage and promotional execution

• Set and maintain attractive well-organized frozen displays that drive sales
• Execute ad plans seasonal features and corporate merchandising initiatives
• Monitor sales performance and adjust displays or orders to meet targets
• Ensure proper rotation (FIFO) and code date integrity

• Maintain proper freezer temperatures and ensure logs are accurate and up to date
• Follow all food safety sanitation and company compliance standards
• Ensure department meets health and safety regulations at all times

• Deliver friendly prompt and knowledgeable service to customers
• Assist customers with product selection and special requests
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally

• Supervise train and coach Frozen Department associates
• Delegate tasks and ensure completion of daily workload
• Support hiring onboarding and performance management as needed
• Promote a positive team-oriented work environment

• Previous grocery or frozen department experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cold environment
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Basic understanding of inventory and merchandising practices

• Frequent exposure to freezer temperatures
• Standing walking bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
